A home of panoramic & striking Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib), the holiest shrine of the Sikh community and India’s most spectacular sight. It was founded by Guru Ram Das Ji (fourth Sikh guru) in 1577. It is also very close to the Atari border, from where gates to Pakistan Wagah border get opened and opening & closing day parade ceremony held. And don’t forget to indulge and treat your taste buds with lip-smacking Punjabi veg/non-veg cuisines.

Other places that you visit are the Summer Palace of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, Akal Takht, Jallianwala Bagh, Chand Baori, Khair Ud-Din Masjid, and ISKCON Sri Sri Radha Gokulananda Temple.

2. Gir

Gir needs no introduction, a place where your wildlife fantasies come true and live. Natural habitat and forested area spread across 1412 sq km and the world’s popular wildlife sanctuary. Here you get the unparalleled opportunity to experience the refuge of the Asiatic lions who generally get spotted between the months from November to April. It is the guaranteed sight where you have a blissful meeting with a big cat. Apart from Lions, you also get the chance to view elusive wild animals and very hard to find birds like the rare Asiatic wild ass, Gir foxes, hyenas, pygmy woodpecker, blackbuck, and brown fish owl, etc,

3. Manali

If you want to get cozier and snugger at the start of winters then Manali is the place for you. Although, Manali is a year-round popular tourist destination and best place to visit for all. Manali is surrounded by sumptuous high peaks where your desire for escapade mountain adventure can come live such as climbing, trekking, skiing, and rafting. And how can we forget the 3978m Rohtang Pass that will give you the actual taste of snow.

4. Rajasthan

When we say Rajasthan, we mean fairy-tale palaces, medieval forts, vibrant shopping streets, colorful & vigorous festivals, and camel rides across most astonishing desert dunes. Rajasthan is one of the most admired tourist locations that offer hassle-free travel. Rajasthan just holds mesmerizing charm in its every corner. 5. Almora

A little but charming hill station that is spread across a 5 Km ridge atop Kashyap Hill in magnificent Himalayans lap. Its divine beauty needs no special words for its description. Almora attracts travelers and backpackers from almost all locations. If you are visiting Uttarakhand, then Almora should be on your wish list. It is surrounded by splendid oak and pine trees, incredible terrace farms, streams passing from the valleys, and snow-clad mountains. Almora being vibrant in its beauty is still a peaceful hill station.

6. Coorg

Coorg, better known as “the little Scotland of India” is one of the best places to visit, especially in winter. The lush mountains with misty landscapes look imposing and make it a perfect destination for vacations in cool and pleasant weather in winters. And don’t forget Dubare Elephant Camp, Iruppu Falls, Namdroling Monastery,  Nagarhole Park, Brahmagiri peak, Mandalpatti, Abbi & Mallalli Falls, and Raja’s seat.
